These are truly amazing, original, vintage, ceiling mount, Art Deco reflector light fixtures manufactured by Westinghouse. Heavy duty, glossy baked porcelain enameled finish on steel, they are uniquely designed and sturdily constructed with expert fin weldings. Featuring the original porcelain socket, wiring and ceiling mount, these fixtures are in outstanding physical and working condition, still having the original label attached: "Westinghouse Reflector - Style No. 889024D". They are white with black rim, measuring 16 inches in diameter by 8.5 inches in height and weigh approximately 3 pounds. They held a standard 150 watt screw-in light bulb, which when lit, gives off brilliant illumination directly resulting from their masterful design.
These reflector fixtures are one-of-a-kind, having been fabulously preserved, since their installation by Citibank, NA, in the 1940s, in a present day underground temperature and humidity controlled microfilm developing and world-wide storage facility, which was constructed during the ?Cold War? with the Soviet Union. Being versatile, they can be reconfigured and suspended from the ceiling with cables.
